The AMSure 100% silicone Foley catheter is an indwelling catheter, a tube held in place by an inflated balloon. It is a sterile, 2-way catheter with a standard tip, 18 Fr size and 30 cc balloon. The silicone material means it contains no latex.
- Made of 100% silicone, so latex allergy is not a concern
- Smooth eyes, the drainage openings, made for user comfort
- Reinforced tip provides a stylet for efficient insertion
- Silicone material has non-adherent characteristics and reduces encrustation and calcifications
- Symmetrical balloon provides a tight seal at the neck of the urethra
