The AdTemp 421 is a tympanic infrared thermometer, a handheld thermometer that takes a temperature reading from the ear. It is made by American Diagnostic Corp for both clinical settings and home use. A compact design fits comfortably in your hand and in the patient's ear.
- Takes a core temperature reading from the ear instantly, with reliable and accurate results
- Temperature range of 89.6° to 108° F (± 0.4° F) or 32° to 42.2° C (± 0.2° C), depending on the scale you select
- Large 6mm illuminated display is easy to read
- Compact, ergonomic design: 5 inches long and 1.9 oz., made to fit comfortably in the operator's hand and the patient's ear
- Audible fever alarm sounds at 99.5° F (37.5° C)
- Stores up to a dozen readings in memory
