The Ethibond Excel suture with needle is a nonabsorbable suture, meaning it is not broken down by the body. It is made of braided polyester and comes attached to a 1/2 circle taper point needle. It is sterile and ready for use in clinics, surgical offices and other facilities.
- Nonabsorbable braided polyester suture made of high molecular weight, long chain, linear polyesters
- Braided construction, made for optimal handling properties
- Highly adherent coating of a relatively nonreactive, nonabsorbable compound
- The coating acts as a lubricant and improves handling compared with braided, uncoated fiber
- Suture material: polyester, braided and coated
- Suture size 1, 30 inch suture length
