The PDS Plus suture loop with needle is an absorbable monofilament suture, made of polydioxanone with Irgacare MP. It is a sterile, violet, 60 inch suture attached to a 65 mm stainless steel taper point needle. It is made for facilities that need a size 0 absorbable suture for wound closure.

- Strength retention is 80% at 2 weeks, 70% at 4 weeks and 60% at 6 weeks
