Description / Coloplast 3430 - Biatain® Hydrocolloid Adhesive with Border Foam Dressing, 4 x 4 Inch - 1/Each, 10/Box
The Coloplast Biatain Adhesive foam dressing is a bordered dressing with a hydrocolloid adhesive, a type of skin-friendly adhesive that holds the dressing in place. It is made of polyurethane foam and measures 4 x 4 inches. It is suited to wounds with healthy skin around them and to areas that need extra adhesion.
- 3D foam structure: when it contacts exudate (wound fluid), the three-dimensional foam of Biatain conforms closely to the wound bed, even under compression
- High absorption and retention of exudate, which minimizes the risk of maceration (softening of surrounding skin) and leakage
- Adhesive dressing suited for wounds with healthy peri-ulcer skin and for areas that need extra adhesion
- Absorption capacity gives the dressing a long wear time
- Soft, flexible dressing that is comfortable to wear
- Hydrocolloid adhesive with border, without film backing
- Polyurethane foam in tan
