The Coloplast Biatain Adhesive with Border foam dressing is a sterile, square dressing with a soft polyurethane foam pad and a hydrocolloid adhesive border. It measures 5 x 5 inches. Its three-dimensional foam structure is made to absorb exudate, the fluid that comes from a wound.
- Three-dimensional foam structure made for high absorption: when it contacts exudate, the Biatain foam conforms closely to the wound bed, even under compression
- Designed to absorb and retain exudate, which helps limit maceration (skin softening from moisture) and leakage
