The J & J Healthcare Systems GUT CHROMIC suture is an absorbable suture, one that the body breaks down over time, supplied with an attached needle. It is a sterile, uncoated chromic gut suture in size 4-0. The needle is a 13 mm, 1/2 circle reverse cutting needle made of stainless steel.
