Description / Coloplast 3780 - Biatain® Ag Calcium Alginate Dressing with Silver, 1 x 17½ Inch - 1/Each, 10/Box
The Coloplast Biatain Alginate Ag Rope is a sterile silver alginate dressing made of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and calcium alginate. It is a non-adhesive rope without a border, so you can fill a wound cavity and cut it to the length you need. It is made for facility and home care use.
- Made for cavity filling: cut the dressing to fit any size, shape or depth of wound
- Holds together during use, so it can be removed in one piece
- Conforms to the wound bed
- Patented silver complex releases silver ions in the presence of wound exudate
- Wear time of up to 7 days
- Absorbs exudate and forms a gel that locks the exudate inside, giving a leak-resistant dressing that protects the skin around the wound from maceration
- Size: 1 x 17½ inches (1 X 17-1/2 Inch)
