Description / Coloplast 33146 - Comfeel® Plus Ulcer Hydrocolloid Dressing - 1/Each, 30/Box
The Coloplast Comfeel Plus Ulcer dressing is a hydrocolloid dressing, a dressing that uses moisture-absorbing particles to seal and cover a wound. It is made for low to moderately exuding wounds. This sterile rectangle measures 1-1/2 X 2-1/2 inches.
- Hydrocolloid dressing with alginate, made to seal and cover low to moderately exuding wounds
- Used for the management of low to moderately exuding wounds, including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, superficial burns, superficial partial-thickness burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds and skin abrasions
- Can stay in place for up to 7 days, depending on the specific wound characteristics
- Semi-permeable top film allows evaporation in line with the level of exudate, and keeps bacteria and water from entering the wound
- Moisture-absorbing sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) particles are encapsulated in a synthetic adhesive/elastomer matrix
- Calcium alginate is added to the dressing to increase absorption
- Top film is a semi-permeable polyurethane film
