The 3M Tegaderm transparent film dressing is a sterile, oval film dressing with an absorbent acrylic polymer pad. It measures 5-5/8 x 6-1/4 inches. The clear film lets you look at the site without taking the dressing off.
- Oval transparent dressing is indicated for partial and full thickness dermal ulcers, skin tears, pressure ulcers, superficial wounds and abrasions, superficial partial-thickness burns, donor sites, and clean, closed approximated surgical incisions or laparoscopic incisions
- Transparent film lets you monitor the wound or surgical incision without removing the dressing
- Clear design makes it easier to position the dressing over the wound or surgical incision
- Breathable acrylic polymer pad is designed to absorb low to moderate exudate
- Dressing does not break down in the wound or surgical incision
- Nonbulky design is made to stay in place against friction from linens, clothing or prosthetics
- Acts as a barrier to external contaminants, bodily fluids, bacteria, viruses and water
- Wear time of up to 7 days, for continued coverage beyond the initial hospital stay and into the home
