The 3M Tegaderm Transparent Film Dressing is a clear, sterile film dressing with an absorbent acrylic polymer pad. It is rectangular and measures 7-7/8 x 8 inches. Because the film is transparent, you can see the area underneath without taking the dressing off.
- Rectangular transparent dressing indicated for partial and full thickness dermal ulcers, skin tears, pressure ulcers, superficial wounds and abrasions, superficial partial-thickness burns, donor sites, and clean, closed approximated surgical incisions or laparoscopic incisions
- Transparent film lets you monitor the wound or surgical incision without removing the dressing
- Clear design makes it easier to position the dressing over the wound or surgical incision
- Breathable acrylic polymer pad is designed to absorb low to moderate exudate
- Dressing does not break down in the wound or surgical incision
- Nonbulky design resists rolling or lifting from friction caused by linens, clothing or prosthetics
- Acts as a barrier to external contaminants, bodily fluids, bacteria, viruses and water
- Wear time of up to 7 days, for use beyond the initial hospital stay and into the home
