The QuickVue At-Home Over-the-Counter COVID-19 Test Kit is a respiratory test kit with 2 tests. It uses a nasal swab sample and you read the result by eye. The vials come pre-filled, so there are no drops to count.
- Qualitative detection of nucleocapsid proteins from SARS-CoV-2
- Intended for individuals with or without a reason to suspect COVID-19, including other epidemiological reasons
- Suitable for individuals who show signs of illness and those who do not
- Test twice over 2 - 3 days, with at least 24 hours and no more than 36 hours between tests
- Pre-filled vials mean no counting drops and no dispensing too much or too little liquid reagent solution
- A positive result indicates the presence of a viral agent; past medical history and other diagnostic information are needed to confirm your status
