The Endo GIA Ultra Universal wound stapler is a skin stapler, a handheld instrument that places staples to close tissue. It has a pistol grip handle and uses titanium staples. It is made by Medtronic MITG and works with Endo GIA reloads.
- Tri-Staple technology from Covidien gives Endo GIA reloads performance across a broader range of tissue thickness, which simplifies choosing a cartridge
- Ergonomic design, precise articulation and one-handed grasping add versatility for the user
- Curved tip reload, with an optional flexible introducer, gives surgeons direct visualization, helps with access to the surgical site, and allows dissection and manipulation of tissue and vessels in challenging stapling applications
- Black reloads let surgeons staple extra thick tissue applications that were previously beyond the indications of any MIS stapler
