The J & J Healthcare Systems Fast Absorbing Gut suture with needle is a sterile, absorbable surgical suture, one that the body absorbs over time. It is made of plain gut and comes with a needle made for delicate plastic or cosmetic surgery. The 1915G is a size 5-0 monofilament suture, 18 inches long.
