The Coloplast Comfeel Plus Transparent Thin dressing is a thin hydrocolloid dressing with a film backing. It is a sterile 3-1/2 X 5-1/2 Inch rectangle. Because the dressing is transparent, a caregiver can look at the wound without lifting it.
- Can stay on the wound for up to 7 days, depending on the specific wound characteristics
- Transparent, so the caregiver can inspect the wound without changing or lifting the dressing
- The wound can be monitored closely without the dressing being disturbed
- Semi-permeable top film allows evaporation in line with the level of exudate (wound fluid) and keeps bacteria and water from entering the wound
- Moisture-absorbing sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) particles are encapsulated in a synthetic, adhesive/elastomer matrix
