The Dermacea sterile abdominal pad, often called an ABD pad, is a large rectangular dressing that measures 8 x 10 inches. It can be used as a primary dressing over incisions or as a secondary dressing over wounds with higher fluid output. Each pad is individually wrapped, so it stays sterile until you open it.
- Designed to cover and cushion abdominal wounds
- Nonwoven material that is gentle against the skin
- Soft outer layer and fluff interior absorb fluid and spread it throughout the pad
- Sealed edges on all four sides keep the pad from producing lint
- Suitable as a primary dressing over incisions
- Suitable as a secondary dressing for wounds with higher fluid output
- Individually wrapped to maintain sterility
