True Metrix Blood Glucose Control, Level 3 is a control solution, a liquid with a known amount of glucose that you use to check your meter and test strips. It is made for use with True Metrix Blood Glucose Test Strips. Each vial holds 3 mL.
- Use only True Metrix Control Solution to check the performance of the True Metrix system
- Run control tests with more than one level of control solution to confirm the system is working properly and your testing technique is good
- This control is Level 3
- Perform a control test before you use the system for the first time
- Perform a control test for practice, to confirm your testing technique is good
- Perform a control test when you open a new vial of test strips
- Perform a control test if results seem unusually high or low based on the patient's condition
- Perform a control test if the test strip vial has been left open or exposed to extreme heat, cold or humidity
