The 3M Medipore + Pad soft cloth adhesive dressing is a composite dressing, one that combines an adhesive border with an absorbent pad. It is rectangular and sterile, with a nonwoven backing. The pad is soft, porous and breathable, and it does not stick to the wound.
- Soft, porous, breathable pad that is nonadherent, so it does not stick to the wound
- Pad is made to limit disruption of tissue when the dressing is removed
- Absorbent pad covers the wound and absorbs drainage while allowing the skin to breathe
