The Epredia STS Bio-Tite prefilled formalin container is a 60 mL (2 oz.) specimen container that arrives already filled with 30 mL of 10% neutral buffered formalin solution. It uses the patented Bio-Tite closure, a dual-threaded screw cap. It is made of polypropylene and is nonsterile.
