The DryMax Extra super absorbent dressing is a sterile, square dressing with a superabsorbent core that takes in and holds wound fluid. It measures 8 x 8 inches and has no border or adhesive. It is made for facility and home use where a nonadhesive absorbent dressing is needed.
- Superabsorbent core takes in wound fluid and retains it
- Vertical absorption and retention capacity helps limit maceration at the wound edges
- Bacteria from the wound exudate are absorbed into the core of the dressing
- Can be used under compression
