Pregestimil Lipil is a ready to use liquid infant formula from Mead Johnson, supplied in a 2 oz. bottle. It is designed for infants with fat malabsorption problems. It is unflavored, given by mouth, and needs no preparation.
- Designed for infants with fat malabsorption problems
- Includes LIPIL, a blend of DHA and ARA, nutrients also found in breast milk
- LIPIL is described as a blend that promotes brain and eye development
- DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is an omega-3 fatty acid
- Arachidonic acid (ARA) is not one of the essential fatty acids unless a deficiency in linoleic acid exists
- Ready to use 2 oz. bottle
- Unflavored liquid, given orally
- 20 calories per serving
- Contains MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides)
- Intended user: infants, ages birth to 1 year
