The Greiner Bio-One MiniCollect capillary blood collection tube is a small plasma tube with a lithium heparin and separator gel additive. It has a draw volume of 800 µL (0.8 ml) and measures 11 x 40 mm. The tube is made of polypropylene and closes with a rubber cross-section cap.
- 0.8 ml draw volume, the same as 800 µL
- Inert acrylic barrier gel in the bottom of the tube
- During centrifugation, the gel moves upward to form a stable barrier between the clot or cells and the serum or plasma
- The barrier also stays stable during transportation
