The Gentell DuPad abdominal pad is a sterile, absorbent pad, the kind often called an ABD pad. It measures 5 x 9 inches and has one ply. Cellulose fibers fill the pad, and the edges are sealed.
- Cellulose fiber filling makes the pad super-absorbent
- Fibers quickly take in fluid and spread it sideways across the pad, which helps limit pooling and maceration
- Hydrophobic backing is designed to keep fluid from passing through (strike-through)
- All edges are sealed to limit linting
