The PolyMem Surgical Max foam dressing from Ferris Manufacturing is a sterile rectangle dressing with an adhesive border and film backing. Its pad is thicker than other PolyMem configurations, and the film has a high MVTR (moisture vapor transmission rate). You can use it as a combined primary and secondary dressing, or as a secondary dressing.

- MAX dressings are made for wounds with heavier drainage or when a longer wear time is desired
