The Coloplast Biatain Silicone Adhesive with Border is a sterile foam dressing, a absorbent pad with an adhesive edge that holds it in place. It measures 3 x 3 inches and is square. It uses a silicone wound contact layer and a soft, flexible foam pad.
- Silicone wound contact layer is made to hold the dressing in place
- Three-piece non-touch opening allows aseptic, easy application and reduces dressing waste
- Soft, flexible design fits closely to the wound and body
- Foam pad at skin level is made to be comfortable to wear, even under compression
- Semi-permeable outer film is bacteria-proof and shower-proof
- Three-dimensional foam absorbs exudate vertically, and the lock-away layer holds the fluid within the foam structure while leaving the wound moist
