The Cardinal Monoject SmarTip IV cannula is a plastic vial access device, not a needle. It is made to access rubber stopper medication vials. It is sterile and 1-1/2 inches long.
- Designed to access rubber stopper medication vials and to reduce the risk of a percutaneous tear
- Plastic cannula, which removes confusion and possible misuse as a hypodermic needle
- Fluorescent orange color helps you tell SmarTip apart as a vial access device
- Helps reduce coring and particulate matter: the tip separates instead of tearing, and there is no hollow bore to core
- Draws medication at a rate equivalent to a 16-gauge, 1.5-inch needle
- Short design with side aspiration eyelets, so you can reach all the medication in a vial without moving the cannula while drawing
- Length: 1-1/2 inch
- Color code: Florescent Orange
- Sterile
