The Silver-Sept Silver Gel Dressing is an amorphous hydrogel wound dressing, a clear gel that comes in a tube. It is made by Bravida Medical and supplied in a 1.5 oz. tube. Facility buyers and home caregivers can check the details below before ordering.
- Amorphous hydrogel wound dressing designed to help maintain a moist wound environment
- Absorbs a mild amount of wound exudate, the fluid a wound produces
- Will not stain or discolor tissue
- Long-lasting silver gel barrier that inhibits the growth of bacteria, including the antibiotic resistant strains MRSA and VRE
- Also inhibits the growth of fungi such as candida albicans and aspergillus niger
