The Starswab II specimen collection and transport system from Troy Biologicals is a sterile swab and tube set with Stuart Medium additive. It is built to hold a sample in media during transport. The 6 inch swabstick has two swab tips.
- Spiral groove, round bottom media chamber keeps the sample immersed and protected in the media and allows easy racking
- Compatible with Gram stain and many rapid screening methods
- Used in routine bacteriology
- Shelf life is 18 months
- Gamma sterilized and wrapped in a sterile, easy-to-peel envelope
