The Sheridan Uncuffed endotracheal tube from Teleflex LLC is a sterile, clear plastic airway tube without a cuff. It is made for pediatric use and can be used orally or nasally. The tube is curved and has a Murphy eye, a side opening near the tip.
- Softens at body temperature
- Smooth, molded, gently cupped tip, made to minimize trauma during intubation
- Depth lines at the distal tip, 1 cm apart, show how deep the tube sits below the vocal cords
