The Temp-Chex Red Spirit Refrigerator Thermometer from Streck Laboratories is a liquid-in-glass thermometer, a spot-reading unit with no power needed. It is made for use with refrigerators. Each one is serial-numbered and NIST traceable.
- Probe sits in a vial of propylene glycol, which acts as a temperature buffer against fluctuations and inaccurate readings
- Individually serial-numbered and traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology)
- Durable plastic case contains the contents if the thermometer breaks
- Measures temperatures from -90° to 50° C
- Mounts magnetically or with adhesive
- Scaled in 0.5° increments
