The Span America Geo-Matt mattress overlay is a segmented foam layer that sits on top of a mattress. It is built with more than 800 individually articulating cells in three distinct zones. A Soft Skin sleeve cover protects the overlay.
- Designed to address major factors in pressure ulcer formation: direct pressure, shearing, friction, and the build-up of heat and moisture
- More than 800 precision-cut, individually articulating cells arranged in three distinct zones
- Smaller cells give contoured support to the head and lower extremities
- Larger cells support the more concentrated weights of the thighs and torso
- Soft Skin cover protects the overlay and is vapor permeable but resistant to liquids
