The ComfiTel wound contact layer dressing is a thin, porous layer that sits between the wound and the outer dressing. It measures 4 x 7 inches and is made of silicone. It is supplied sterile.
- Porous mesh design lets wound exudate (fluid from the wound) pass through to absorbent dressing materials
- Made to be comfortable and conformable
- Semi-transparent, so you can see the wound for easy assessment
- Used as a protective barrier between the wound and the outer dressing
- Intended for a variety of wounds, including venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, dry to heavily exudating abrasions, surgical and trauma wounds, first and second degree burns, and cuts and lacerations
