The Safelet peripheral IV catheter from Nipro Medical is a short IV catheter with a 20 gauge, 1 inch ETFE tube and a straight plastic hub. It is sterile and radiopaque, which means it shows on X-ray. It has no safety feature and no blood control.
- ETFE catheter material is biocompatible, chosen to minimize the risk of irritation while the catheter is indwelling, meaning left in place
- Hub has a flashback window, so you can quickly see blood
- Catheter length: 1 Inch
- Gauge: 20 Gauge, pink color code
- Flow rate: 52 to 65 mL / min
- Straight plastic hub, without port
- Stainless steel needle
