The Hygrobac electrostatic filter is a combined filter and heat and moisture exchanger (HME), made by Medtronic MITG for adult patients. It joins two functions in one unit, so there is one device to set up instead of two. It has a straight style and is medically clean.

- Electrostatic hydrophobic membrane helps guard against cross-contamination
- Hygroscopic membrane traps the patient's moisture to provide airway humidification
- Low resistance to airflow, which keeps the work of breathing low
