Atrac-Tain is an unscented cream for moisturizing hands and body, made by Medline. It comes in a 5 ounce tube and is CHG-compatible, so it suits use in medical facilities and at home. The formula contains urea and alpha hydroxy acid (AHA).
- Made without fragrance, dye or preservatives, and described as safe for use on sensitive skin
- CHG-compatible (chlorhexidine gluconate) and described as safe for use in medical facilities
- Contains 4% AHA and 10% urea, which increase the water-binding capacity of the epidermis and attract water to dry skin cells
- Also works as an exfoliant, sloughing away dry skin cells to reveal smoother, softer-feeling skin
