The Medical Indicators Tempa·DOT is a disposable thermometer, a single-use unit that you can use in the mouth (oral) or under the arm (axillary). It shows temperature with color dots instead of an electronic screen. It is sterile and contains no mercury.

• Each dot changes color from tan to blue at a specific temperature, based on the melting point of the chemical mixture in that dot
• Tempa DOT AX thermometers have an adhesive strip that holds the thermometer in place in the axillary (underarm) position
