The Medical Action Industries venipuncture kit gathers the items used for a blood draw into one sterile kit. It is part of the MedAct line, model 61516. Each kit has a blood collection needle and barrel, skin prep, gauze, a bandage, gloves and a tourniquet.
- Skin prep supplies: one medium alcohol prep pad and one povidone iodine in SEPP ampule applicator
- Blood collection supplies: one blood collection barrel and one 22 gauge by 1 inch blood collection needle
- Two 2 x 2 inch eight-ply gauze sponges
- One 0.75 x 3 inch adhesive bandage, listed in the spec data as latex free
- One pair of medium latex exam gloves
- One 1 x 18 inch latex tourniquet
