The McKesson Brand Medihoney HCS wound dressing is a honey wound dressing, a square pad made with Leptospermum honey. It combines the honey with Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) technology for easy handling. It is made for dry to moderately exuding superficial to partial thickness wounds.
- Combines Leptospermum honey with the handling capability of Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) technology
- Absorbs two and a half times the amount of fluid of leading hydrocolloids
- Described as cooling upon application
- Absorbs light to moderate amounts of exudate, the fluid that comes from a wound
- Made for dry to moderately exuding superficial to partial thickness wounds
- Size: 4½ x 4½ inches (listed as 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 inch)
