The Pro-Vent Plus Arterial Blood Gas Kit is a kit for collecting arterial blood gas samples. It pairs a 3 mL Luer slip syringe with a 23 gauge needle and a balanced heparin additive. The kit also includes the prep supplies, labels and ice bag listed below.
- Special heparin formulation that offsets both binding and dilution factors by pre-adjusting each electrolyte and metabolite to its normal blood level
- Made for consistent, accurate readings of pH, pCO2, pO2, Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K+, Cl-, CO-oximetry, glucose and lactate
- Large venting filter media for quick filling
- Siliconized barrel for easy aspiration, even in code situations
- Additive: 23.5 IU / mL dry lithium heparin, balanced heparin type
- Syringe: 3 mL, Luer slip
- Needle: 23 gauge, 1 inch long
- Kit contents: Filter-Pro device, alcohol prep pad, iodophor prep pad, 2 x 2 gauze pad, patient label, biohazard labeled ice bag and adhesive bandage
