The Thermovent heat and moisture exchanger (HME) with filter provides heat and passive humidification. It sits between the patient and the circuit, and it can be used in anesthesia or the ICU. It is made for adult use.
- Includes a filter, electrostatic filter type
- Moisture output of 23 mg at 34° C for 500 mL tidal volume and 18 mg at 34° C for 1000 mL tidal volume
- Resistance of 1.0 hPa at 0.5 L per second, 2.5 hPa at 1.0 L per second and 4.0 hPa at 1.5 L per second
- Provides heat and passive humidification with filtration between the patient and the circuit
- Can be used in anesthesia or ICU settings
- Listed at 27 mg H₂O/L at VT 500 mL
- Resistance of 1.6 cm H₂O at 30 LPM
