The Hartmann ColActive Plus collagen dressing is a sterile, square dressing that measures 2 x 2 inch. It is made from collagen, sodium alginate, carboxyl methylcellulose (CMC) and EDTA. It is used on wounds that produce drainage.
- EDTA and collagen in ColActive Plus are designed to target and deactivate elevated MMP (matrix metalloproteinases) activity
- Alginate and CMC help the dressing keep a moist wound environment
- Absorbs up to 20 times its weight in wound drainage while keeping a moisture balance for wound closure
