Health*Star Docusate Sodium / Sennosides Stool Softener is a laxative tablet, sold by the bottle or by the case. Each tablet combines two active ingredients, docusate sodium and sennosides. Read the label and talk with a clinician if you have questions about use.
- Often recommended to empty the bowels before surgery
- Can also be used for occasional constipation
- Each tablet contains 50 milligrams of docusate sodium and 8.6 milligrams of sennosides
- Active ingredients are the same as those in Senokot-S tablets (Senokot-S is a registered trademark of Arcadia Consumer Healthcare)
