Before you order
Check four details on the product page: the dressing type, the size, whether it is adhesive or non-adhesive, and whether it is sterile. Dressings are sold by the box and by the case, and many are also sold singly. A wound care nurse, doctor, or other clinician chooses the dressing for a particular wound.
Common questions
What is the difference between foam and hydrocolloid dressings? Foam dressings are padded and absorbent. Hydrocolloid dressings are thinner and form a gel as they take up fluid. A clinician decides which one a wound needs.
What does "silicone foam" mean? The side of the foam that touches the skin has a soft silicone layer.
What does "non-adherent" mean? The surface of the dressing is made not to stick to the wound. Non-adherent dressings are usually held in place with tape or a wrap.
Can I buy dressings for a facility? Yes. Most dressings are sold in box and case quantities. Ask our customer care team about a business account.
