The Darco HeelWedge post-op shoe is a shoe built with a wedge heel, designed to shift weight from the heel to the mid and forefoot. It is used after surgery or trauma, or when wounds or ulcerations are present on the heel. This Small size comes in black and is unisex.
- Heel wedge design shifts weight to the mid and forefoot, off-loading pressure from the heel
- Suited to use after surgery, after trauma, or when wounds or ulcerations are present on the heel
- Square toe design acts as a bumper to protect the toes and gives a better universal left/right fit
- Removable forefoot closure adds security and removes buckle pressure
- Ankle strap seats the foot firmly in the shoe, helping reduce heel slippage and friction
- Zoned outsole has an aggressive tread under the mid-foot, where traction is needed most
- Removable insole has twice the padding of standard insoles and can be modified as needed
- Small fits women's shoe sizes 6 to 7.5 or men's shoe sizes 5 to 6.5
