Alka-Seltzer Extra Strength Heartburn Relief is an effervescent tablet, one you dissolve in liquid, made by Bayer. It contains aspirin, an analgesic, along with sodium bicarbonate and anhydrous citric acid. This is an over-the-counter drug product, so read the label before use.
- Extra strength formula with 175 milligrams more aspirin and 69 more milligrams of sodium bicarbonate than regular Alka-Seltzer
- Each effervescent tablet contains 1,000 milligrams anhydrous citric acid, 500 milligrams aspirin and 1,985 milligrams sodium bicarbonate
- Labeled for heartburn, upset stomach and acid indigestion with headache and body aches
- Contains an analgesic, labeled for pain that comes with heartburn and acid indigestion
