The Avanos MIC-Key low profile gastrostomy tube kit is a feeding tube kit, sold as one kit each. The tube is silicone, sterile and 20 Fr. with a 0.8 cm tube length. The kit includes the tube along with the items listed below.
- Low-profile design
- Silicone internal retention balloon
- Recessed distal tip when the balloon is at the recommended fill volume
- Sterilized with ethylene oxide
- DEHP-free formulation
- Kit includes the MIC-Key low-profile gastrostomy feeding tube, insertion stylet, water-soluble lubricant, 12-inch continuous feed extension set, 12-inch bolus feed extension set, 6 mL luer slip syringe, 35 mL enteral feeding syringe and gauze pad
- Continuous feed extension set has a Secur-Lok right angle connector, 2 Y port and clamp
- Bolus extension set has a cath tip, Secur-Lok straight connector and clamp
- Balloon size: 5 ml
- Syringes: one 6 ml syringe and one 35 ml catheter tip syringe
- Four gauze pads, one user manual and one patient care guide
- Tube size: 20 Fr.
