Similac Special Care 20 Ready to Use Infant Formula from Abbott Nutrition is a liquid formula made for premature infants. It comes ready to feed in a 2 oz. bottle, so there is no mixing. It contains OptiGRO, Abbott's exclusive blend of DHA, lutein and vitamin E.
- OptiGRO is Abbott's exclusive blend of DHA, lutein and vitamin E, ingredients that are also found in breast milk
- DHA is included for brain and eye development
- Lutein is included to support eye development of the preterm infant
- Vitamin E is an important nutrient found in breast milk and is included to support developing cells
- Provides approximately 2 mg iron per kg of body weight per day when fed at 120 calories per kilogram of body weight per day
